Villa Tropical - Beachfront Apartments in Puerto Rico

Villa Tropical is a group of furnished apartments located on Shacks Beach on the border between the towns of Isabela and Aguadilla in the northwest corner of Puerto Rico. The apartments are on Shacks Beach, directly in front of what Windsurfer magazine has called the best wave sailing in the Caribbean and what Skin Diver magazine has called the best snorkeling and diving in Puerto Rico. There is a surf break out front, and to one side are more than two miles of open beach without a single house. We offer furnished apartments, not hotel rooms, so there is no daily maid service. Instead of a gym we have the ocean and miles of beach and we offer our guests the use of snorkeling equipment, surf boards, boogie boards and kayaks. There is no restaurant on-site but some very nice ones within short beach walking distance and great grocery stores for your barbecuing pleasure. A $300 deposit or a credit card is required to secure a reservation, and payment of the balance in cash, traveler’s checks, or credit card is due on arrival. There is a minimum stay of two days, and advance reservations are preferred to be 7+ days (two weeks at Xmas). No pets are allowed. Quiet time 11pm-7am. Parties only with prior approval. Damage deposit required for groups. 9% room tax must be added to all prices. Check-in time is 3 pm; check-out: 12 pm.

Each apartment has a full kitchen, with stove, refrigerator, microwave, blender, coffeemaker, pots, pans, and utensils. Sheets, blankets, pillows, and inside towels are provided. Bring beach towels. There is cable TV and gas BBQ’s. All units have A/C at least in the bedrooms; most have air-conditioning throughout; all apartments have ceiling fans. We offer weekly cleaning services and coin-operated laundry facilities on premises. A wireless internet café is available outside of the office and in some building compounds. Smoking is not allowed inside the units. $100/night charged for unauthorized pets; $30/night for unauthorized overnight guests; $10/day day-use fee for extra people. All Children count in occupancy total. Rental Rates for 2007 are as follows (long-term stay rates negotiable):

ONE-BEDROOM OCEANFRONT APARTMENT:
$120/nite + 9% tax for one or two people; $10/night for 3rd person; 3 ppl max. (each apartment has a queen and a twin bed)

TWO-BEDROOM OCEANFRONT APARTMENT:
$150/night + 9% tax for up to 4 people; $10/night / extra person (4 to 6 ppl max, depending on aptmt)(queen and king size beds)

THREE-BEDROOM OCEANFRONT APARTMENT:
$200night + 9% tax for up to 6 people; $10/person/night for additional people, to a max of 8 ppl.

FOUR-BEDROOM OCEANFRONT APARTMENT:
$230/night + 9% tax for up to six people; $10/person/night for additional people, to a max of 11 ppl.

ONE-BEDROOM NONOCEANFRONT APARTMENT:
$100/nite + 9% tax for 1 or 2 people; $10/night for 3rd person; 3 ppl max.

OCEANFRONT STUDIO:
$110/nite + 9% tax (1 or 2 people; double bed)

NONOCEANFRONT STUDIO:
$90nite + 9% tax (1 or 2 people; double bed)
