There are a total of Twenty-Eight (28) Apartments available for rent through Villa Tropical, Inc. The apartments are located in Eight (8) exclusive, private-family-owned oceanfront properties, on Shacks Beach, in Bajuras, Isabela. The apartments are of varying size, age, stage, location, view, amenity, and grander. Each fully - equipped apartment has unique attributes, ranging from modern facilities and amenities to towering high panoramic coastal views and eclectic décor. Every single apartment is someone’s absolute favorite.

The Nineteen (19) oceanfront apartment units are a stone’s throw from the water, literally. Some front to the surf break and others to the Blue Hole Coral Reef. There are nine (9) non-oceanfront and ocean-view units. There are apartments with lavish tropical gardens, large gated yards and private pools. All have one space Free Parking, Private Beach Access, and Free Wireless Internet. All have experienced traveler / vacationers’ home away from home necessities. All come with the privacy you help support and Good Tenant Responsibility. Villa Tropical and the Bajuras / Shacks Beach experience is just that, an Experience. Visit more than once and a plentitude of views, surges of adrenalin, and deep breaths of relaxation will fill your memory.

WHERE ARE THE APARTMENTS?

From an Aerial Perspective of the Bajuras beach district, in the NW corner of Puerto Rico, on the border of Isabela and Aguadilla; the Properties list from east to west: Villa Bajandas (B), Villa Tropical (VT Main), and Villa Rivero (R), are the only properties that front to the “Blue Hole ”, a picturesque Coral Reef and Protected Swimming Area. West of the Rivero building is Villa Filisha (F), Villa Quinones (Q), and Villa Sol (S), which are just slightly around the point just left/west of the Blue Hole, where there is a challenging surf break. During windy times here, world-class kite-boarders put on a dazzling show. The non oceanfront properties - Ocean Blue (OB) and Villa Viento (VV) are a hop and skip to the beach, one street from the beach….across the street from the F property. OB2’s rooftop deck enjoys views of not only the ocean, but the Bajuras’ mansion skyline (original beach shacks no longer).

WHAT IS IN THE APARTMENTS?

In each apartment there is a full kitchen, with stove, refrigerator, microwave, blender, coffeemaker, pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. Sheets, blankets, pillows and inside towels are also provided. Please do bring your own beach towels or buy a Villa Tropical souvenir towel when you get here. We have hairdryers, irons, and other extra’s to lend but for comfort, we recommend you bring your own personal necessities and move in for your stay. We even start you off with dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels and other tools for tidying up. There is FREE Satellite TV and gas BBQ’s. All units have A/C and ceiling fans. There is one FREE Parking space for each unit. There are coin-operated laundry facilities onsite and some of the units have en-suite laundry. Ask at the office about temporary storage for sports gear. A Free Weekly Cleaning is provided for all stays of 14 days and longer. Daily cleaning services are available for a nominal fee. Explore the different properties/‘Villas’ and the many unique apartment units, and then talk to us about your group dynamics. There is an apartment so new you might smell the paint, and so ‘traditional’, there are original wood slat crank window blinds….but it has the largest and most private oceanfront deck. ? The pictures and descriptions are accurate, and if you can tell us more about your needs and desires, we will do our best to help you choose the optimum location available for your stay. If you are travelling as 3 families then pick a property where you can all be together but have your own individual units or….the options are limitless. Over time, as you visit us regularly, one of them will become your favorite.

We are a small, family-owned and operated business so we must try to fill our reservations calendar judiciously. We also WANT to get as many NEW GUESTS who are trying to visit Villa Tropical, the opportunity to do so. With this and the first come first serve general policy in mind, we apply the following guidelines:

There is a minimum requirement for an advance reservation booking for stays of less than 2 nights, and during holiday dates. We always welcome last minute walk-ins for any length of stay. Apartment rental is charged nightly, plus 3% Guest Services, and 9% Room Tax. Rental Rates are based on the minimum anticipated occupancy with an extra $20/night/person added up to the allowable maximum. Only Registered Guests are allowed on property grounds. No pets are allowed on property grounds or inside the apartments. There is NO SMOKING inside the apartments. All Villa Tropical guests/tenants are bound by the terms of the Tenants Contract.

Discounts apply for approved Corporate Partners, Government and Military Personnel. Discounts also apply for our Regular Tenants – members of the Villa Tropical First Mates Club.
